And I have some Christmas cool information for you:

Students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry go on a few weeks’ holidays for the Christmas season — though some students (such asHarry Potter) choose to stay at Hogwarts.

For Christmas at Hogwarts, the Great Hall is decorated with twelve towering Christmas trees, festoons of holly, mistletoe, and other Christmas oriented accents. In addition this, the school has been known to be decorated with real live fairies which fly around the trees, everlasting icicles which are applied to the banisters of the Grand Staircase, and warm, dry snow which falls from the Enchanted Ceiling of the Great Hall. Also, the suits of armour around Hogwarts have been known to be charmed to sing carols.

The students can choose to stay at Hogwarts Castle or return home for the holidays, which begin shortly beforeChristmas Day and end sometime after New Year’s Day. A Professor generally goes among the students making a list of those who want to stay for the winter holidays. A notable occasion upon which a majority of students stayed at Hogwarts for Christmas was in 1994, when Hogwarts hosted the Triwizard Tournament and the Yule Ballheld on Christmas Day. On Harry Potter’s first Christmas at Hogwarts, it had been by far the best Christmas he had ever had.

Well here I have some interesting Harry Potter news:

- A new Harry Potter pop-up store has openedon the third floor of the popular London department store, Harrods!  Fans will have the opportunity to shop for Harry Potter products from the likes of the Noble Collection, LEGO, Hasbro and more. Original costumes and props from the films will also be on display, and visitors will get a sneak peek at the upcoming attraction, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – the Making of Harry Potter. A special installation has been set up by Warner Bros. Studio Tour London where fans can take their photo at the Great Hall
There will also be game booths set up for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, once it is released on Nov. 18.For more information, check out the press release on Facebook. The Harry Potter store in Harrods will be open until January 2012.

Yesterday, Warner Bros. and Universal announced The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is recieving a sister in Hollywood. Along with this addition, there will be more things added to the park in Florida.

Off Topic

Earlier today I went to see the new Transformers movie. I came back tired because its almost 3 hours long!!! It was very well done except Sam’s new girlfriend has a white jacket and perfect blond hair STILL at the end of the movie. I thought it was great anyway.

The Review

Wotcher!!!

After letting the awesomeness sink in, I am finally able to review Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Spoiler Alert

            This was definitely the best Harry Potter movie yet (As well as book). I recommend this to anyone who likes awesomeness, action, and magic, however, if you despise all these things and like things more along the lines of boringness, then you best stay away from this film. 

Plot summary

          Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived, will risk it all to find and destroy all of Voldemort’s horcruxes, thus vulnerizing ( to be vulnerable) He who must not be named. After one of his dear friends dies, he, along with his partners Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, head into Gringott’s Wizarding Bank. To get in they make a deal with a goblin which turns out to backfire on him. Escaping the bank turns out to be even harder then getting in, as they have to fight off, and then ride off on, a dragon. They now had another horcrux, Hufflepuff’s cup. Soon after getting off the dragon they head to Hogsmeade, where they find Dumbledore’s brother, Aberforth. Through Aberforth’s house they are able to use a secret entrance into the room of requirement, where they find Dumbledore’s army led by Neville.

            After catching up with their friends, they soon split up to find the last horcrux, which they believe tobe Ravenclaw’s lost diadem. To find it, Harry talks to the ghost of Rowena Ravenclaw’s daughter, the grey lady. After being yelled at she finally tells him it is in the place where all is hidden, and that if he knows now he will never need to ask, but if he doesn’t know he will never. Harry, being as clever as he is, heads to the room of requirement.

          Meanwhile, Ron and Hermione head to the Chamber of Secrets where they believe they will find a basilisk fang with venom that can destroy horcruxes. Since the Chamber can only be opened by a parsel mouth, Ron opens it with an attempt at the snake language, claiming Harry talks in his sleep. After retreving it, they are attacked by Nagini, Voldemort’s snake. After a battle to stay alive Neville kills the snake, allowing Hermione to stab the cup. During this time, there is a huge battle which is later joined by many deaths. Harry, knowing that Voldemort will only stop when he is dead goes into the forbidden forest to sacrifice himself. Then after being “killed” by Voldemort, he is taken into Limbo where he has an inspiring conversation with Albus Dumbledore himself. When Harry awakes from this trancelike state he immediately runs after being released by Hagrid, who was carrying him. After another intense battlebetween Harry, Draco Crabbe and another unnamed slytherin, in which Crabbe is accidentaly killed by his own spell, Harry retrieves the diadem and takes it back to be destroyed. Then Harry and Voldemort, after a long Priori Incantatem, rinally end the battle, with Harry as the Champion.

There is one thing that I would like to point out that disappointed me. There was an absence of a Giant who is a half-brother to a half-giant named Hagrid. Yes Grawp was not in the movie. this irritated me because that was the whole reason he was in the 5th book.

Now it is time for awards.

For funniest line in the movie, the award goes to Ronald Weasley for the “Harry talks in his sleep” line.

For most inspiring words in the movie, the award goes to Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore for the “just because it is in your head, doesn’t mean none of this is real” acompanied by a wink.

And ,finally, for most reckless thing through the entire movie, Harry Potter for throwing away the Elder wand. Seriously, at the end he just snapped in in half, then through one end towards the castle, and the other into the black lake. Not even a thought in his mind like “Hmmm… this belonged to Dumbledore, I wonder if Aberforth might want this to remember hi by. Granted, there wasn’t a thought like “I have all the Deathly Hallows now I can be the master of death.” but still. Plus he could have hit someone. Imagine your Neville, just walking around the Hogwarts courtyards and out of nowhere, half a wand hits you in the back of the head and you fall down onto the concrete, hit your head, break your nose, and have to go to the hospital for the rest of your life because it put you into a coma.

So that’s my bright and exciting review.

HPDHP2 Review

Sorry for that wait, but I haven’t been able to get on the computer..

***SPOILER ALERT***

Ok, seriously this was the best Harry Potter movie EVER!!!!! The only 2 big things that were wrong with in my opinion is that Voldemort and Harry, in the book, ran around more and yelled things at each other. In the movie  Harry and Voldie just cast a spell and Voldemort died by turning into ash. I thought since the movie buisness can do so much that they would do something EPIC. The other thing is in the Snape flash back Lily’s eyes were BROWN!!!! Not blue. In the scene that Voldemort kills her they’re GREEN!!! Sorry if that was a nerd outburst, but they didn’t focus on DETAILS!!

Other than thos it was AWESOME!!! BTW if you have a chance  see Captain America. Even though it beat HP it was pretty good. Beware of the Red Skull.
