Wotcher Harry Potter fans!
This is a little longer than the other Matt Lewis interview that had him saying “Deathly Hallows is harrowing, bloody, and gory.”
In this interview, he compares the movies and talks more about why he thinks Deathly Hallows is more frightening. WOW, I’m starting to think that this is a definite PG-13 movie. Don’t worry, JKR wouldn’t have ANYONE see it if it was R. Seriously! The internet is buzzing that they think that, but really, the book is in the kids section of the book store. Come ON. Really! Most of the people who are reading the series aren’t over the age of 17 (well, there are LOTS who are, but there are much more of younger teens–pre-teens.)
I have collected some information that is important from them:
Producer David Heyman said the final battle, or the Battle of Hogwarts as its known in the book, will last around 30 minutes. That’s 30 minutes of wizarding duels, death, and destruction that will draw the franchise to a close in an epic fashion.
30 MINUTES!!! 😮 The saddest 30 minutes of my life. Yet, I do enjoy a good battle sequence. 😀 All of the deaths are so sad. 😥 😥 😥
AND, they said that they were trying to keep the rating the same:
Fans will be glad to know that they are trying to keep as much stuff from the book in the film as possible, and that includes all of the deaths and gore (without getting a stricter rating of course).
I am glad!! On every movie, I create a list of things that I wish they would have included. Lets try to shorten that list. 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
